Overview

Formerly known as the Tufts College, Tufts University is a private research-intensive educational institute. It is located in Medford, Massachusetts, United States of America. It was established in 1852 and with that it is indeed among one of the oldest institutes in the United States for higher education. Tufts University is situated at the highest point in Medford because Charles Tufts donated land for the campus at this point to bring light to the hill.
